Silica particles

Silica particles  in the size range: 100 nm – 100 µm

At microParticles GmbH, we develop and produce monodisperse silica particles in the size range from 100 nm to 100 µm, which have been specially developed for use in science and industry. Due to their hydrophilic surfaces and chemical stability, silica particles serve as reliable carriers for protein and antibody purification, especially in magnetic formats or with surface functionalization (e.g., streptavidin-biotin systems). In materials science and nanotechnology, our silica particles are used as templates for the production of nanostructures, including photonic crystals and silicon microwire arrays.
