Polystyrene spheres in the size range: 100 nm – 300 µm
Our polystyrene nano and microspheres (uncrosslinked or crosslinked) are prepared via free radical initiated polymerization techniques, such as emulsion polymerization, dispersion polymerization, or suspension polymerization. This nano and microspheres are highly monodisperse and, thanks to their reliable reproducibility, are suitable as calibration standards for instruments such as Coulter counters, disc centrifuges, flow cytometry and optical microscopes. Due to their well-defined size and material properties, our polystyrene nano and microspheres are also used as reference standards in acoustophoresis systems.
Key Features:
microParticles GmbH offers Polystyrene nano and microspheres with a range of surface functionalizations, paramagnetic and fluorescent labels.
